- Earthworks and preparation of site (following strict environmental specifications)
- Involved an environmentally conscious and professional approach- works to be carried out during patron visiting hours.
- Takes the phrase reduce, reuse, recycle literally with materials and methods used to minimise the environmental impact of construction.
- Construction of three separate adjoining single storey structures designed to blend with their surrounding environment.
- Installation of a number of sustainable products including- low flush toilet bowls, waterless urinals, low flow taps etc.
- Installation of six water tanks with a total capacity of 76,000 litres used to service all plumbing and irrigation requirements for the surrounding landscaped area.
- Photovoltaic cells, wind turbines and passive lighting have all been installed in place of traditional power methods.
