Jim Sweeney
Managing Director
Jim Sweeney began his career as an ‘A’ grade Electrician before he moved to a position as Contracts Manager at Wormald International. Over the next thirty years he worked for Geraldton Building Company and managed the North West Operations and Facility Management Contracts for BHP Robe River Mining, Newcrest Mining and Rio Tinto while gaining qualifications in Business Management, Facility Management and Estimating.
Over the last seven years he has been Managing Director of CPD Group and with fellow Director, Graeme Kennedy, has transformed a small maintenance company to a company with a turnover in excess of $16M annually, adding Electrical, Plumbing and Painting divisions to compliment the Maintenance and Construction services.

Graeme Kennedy
Operations Director
Graeme Kennedy’s career in the construction, refurbishment and maintenance industry began in Scotland twenty-five years ago. He has developed an interest in Disabled Modifications and improving the quality of life for physically challenged people. Graeme retrained in London to become qualified as an Access Auditor for Disability Needs.
Since migrating to Australia in 2005 Graeme has been at the forefront of developing CPD Group to the multi trade company it is today. Graeme holds the plumbing and gas contractor’s licence for cpdgroup.

Peter Hunt
Contracts Director
Peter Hunt has developed a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the building industry in his twelve years as a registered builder (B/L – 10170) in Western Australia. Peter began his career in the UK in 1989 and has since established himself in Perth in 1994. Peter has worked for a variety of organizations including JCP Constructions, Ventura Homes and Shire of Swan.
Peter Hunt is a Specialised Heritage Council Preferred Supplier. His extensive knowledge and experience in heritage and conservation works can be seen in his previous projects on Rottnest Island, the Art Gallery, Supreme Court, Government House, Warden’s House in Coolgardie and the Perth Oval Entrance in the Town of Vincent. His work in the UK has been awarded numerous times including commendations from Derbyshire Greenwatch on behalf of English Heritage.

Nick Stock
Projects Director
Nick Stock has been in the Construction Industry for 17 years. He has a wealth of experience in Estimating, Building and Surveying as well as Construction Supervision. Nicks skills in coordinating and supervising contracts ensure that jobs comply with the Australian Standards and are completed with a high degree of quality and on time.
Originally based in Melbourne, Nick’s background in construction supervision has enabled him to gain valuable experience with large architecturally designed homes and commercial projects with companies such as Britton Constructions and Nu Lite Windows Pty Ltd (in Victoria). Nick also has a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Diploma of Builder’s Registration.

Josh Bosker
Minor Works Manager
Josh Bosker has been involved in the building industry since 1998. He began as a qualified carpenter in Melbourne, working on both commercial and residential projects. He also gained valuable experience in Melbourne as a Site Foreman.
Josh commenced work with CPD Group in 2006 and as Minor Works Manager, he ensures that the Minor Works and Maintenance Team deliver a quality project and service to our clients on time.
Josh has extensive experience in additions, alterations, refurbishments and maintenance for a variety of clients including state and local government departments and schools.

Rorey Flynn
Peel Regional Manager
Rorey began his career as an apprentice Carpenter and Joiner in 1997. On completion of his apprenticeship, he started a carpentry business servicing project builders, commercial builders and the community. He Supervised works such as renovation works, extensions, new homes and resort construction.
Rorey commenced work with CPD Group in 2008 supervising contracts up to $1 million. When we commenced operations in the Peel Region and began targeting work there, Rorey stepped up and utilized his vast experience and knowledge of the region to take on the Supervision of our contracts throughout this region.
